Born in Pennsylvania, not far from Center City Philadelphia, my art education began at a very young age, attending various art programs throughout the city. This continued throughout high school where I received a full paid scholarship - allowing me to earn my first BFA in painting and my second BFA in fibers and textile design. Both from PCA-Philadelphia College of the Art.
As a graduate in painting I was very influenced by abstract expressionism, French impressionism and period fashion design. I was fortunate to have exhibited my work at various galleries in Philadelphia, Boston, New York and most importantly to me The Philadelphia Museum of Art.
As an artist my career has taken me away from painting in many different directions. From Fashion stylist for Strawbridge & Clothier department store, millinery designer of my own brand, freelance Fashion Stylist at the Franklin Mint, as well as many other styling positions. As a result I stopped painting for 15 years.
Covid descended, gifting me time to myself. Started me painting again, now inspired by portrait paintings from the great masters, as well as old Black and white photographs from the golden age of Hollywood.
